SHIPPING POLICY
At The Artesão, we take great care in preparing and packaging each order so it arrives beautifully and safely. Below is a guide to how we ship, when to expect your items, and how to request complimentary gift wrapping.

Processing Time
All orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days of receipt. If your order contains made-to-order items or a pre-order, please allow additional processing time as noted on the product page.
Domestic Shipping (U.S.)
We ship all domestic orders via USPS Priority Mail, which typically delivers within 1–3 business days once shipped. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping to select countries at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination and carrier.
Please note that customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes required by their country.
Complimentary Gift Wrapping
We’re delighted to offer complimentary gift wrapping on all orders.
To request gift wrapping, simply:

Preorders & Split Shipments
If your order contains preorder items, we will ship available items first unless you request otherwise. Preorders will ship as soon as they arrive. Most Fyoli Fyoli items ship separately from California.
Shipping Issues & Lost Packages
Once a package is in transit, USPS is responsible for its delivery.
If your package appears delayed or lost, please contact us—we’re happy to assist in initiating an inquiry with USPS.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
At The Artesão, every piece is handcrafted in small batches by artisans around the world. Because of the unique nature of our products, we handle returns with care, transparency, and fairness.

Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be:

Unused, unworn, and in their original condition

In the original packaging (including jewelry cards, boxes, tags, etc.)

Free of any signs of wear, alterations, or damage
Non-returnable items:

Custom or personalized orders

Made-to-order items

Perishable items (e.g., soaps once opened)

How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@theartesao.com with:

Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error on our part. For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. If the item was damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can assist promptly.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval. Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Exchanges
Because our items are produced in small quantities, exchanges are not always possible. If you’d like to inquire about an exchange, email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Gifts
If you received an item as a gift and would like to return it, we can issue a store credit once the item is returned in original condition.
